Retrievers are bred to help hunters by retrieving their game, commonly birds, and bringing them back undamaged. For this task, they are required to have a "soft" mouth for gently carrying game. Retrievers also need agility and strength for crossing rough terrain on land and in water. They are also very intelligent and have a strong urge to please.

The FurryPaws Retriever casso has nine breeds. These breeds have strong stats for agility, charisma, stamina, and strength, making them well suited to Dock Diving, Field Trials, and Frisbee.
