Vision of the Night

A creepy old woman wobbles up to you, holding a oval shaped ball of light in her hands. You are curious of the ball of light and you follow the old woman. The old woman waves you over next to a waterfall as the full moon rises. The waterfall splits into two as she does an irregular movement of her hands. She dances into the dark cave. You are now intrigued but worried of what might be in that cave. You hear the howl of a wolf near by, and you hurry in, just as the waterfall conjures back into one.
You feel your way through the dark eerie cave. As you blink, trying to adjust your eyes, a burst of crisp cold air slithers past your hands. You feel a sudden birst of anticipation, but when you see the massive great oak tree, you open your arms wide with joy.
The cave stretches far up and out, a crack in the top of the cave lets a glimmer of moonlight shine down on the oak tree. Small leaves dance down around you, lightning bugs buzz by and twirl around the oak tree, hanging moss lingers down apon over a little creek, and small river trout leap in and out of the creek. The stunning view leaves you in awe. You see the once old woman creep back up to, as she now looks young, and majestic. You ask, "What is this place?". The woman makes a warm smile and raises her hands, the ball of light rising up. "This," she says, "is The Vision of the Night!" The ball bursts into thousands of different colored buterflies, making the cave dance with color and life.


Hello! I am Sophex. My real name is Sapphire, for my really deep blue eyes. And this is The Vision of the Night! Where I show there's more beautiful things out there than just in the day. It means, even if a dog doesn't show itself...doesn't mean it isn't good at anything. :) I am very new to this Furrypaws and any advice or tips would be nice! :D Also, if you draw humans, I'd be crazed if you show me a few tips.
