Welcome to kennel FI*Winterfell!


IRL, behind all this is 27 years old dog-lover from Northern Finland. I'm a proud owner of a 5-year old Lapponian Herder girl and a Magyar Agár/Hungarian Sighthound girl puppy (born 7/2012) who hopefully will be my first lure coursing and track racing dog! Besides dogs I've got a Balinese cat and some exotic terrarium pets. I have studied veterinary nursing, but right now I am unemployed.


My kennel is focusing on Lapponian Herder breeding, as it is my own breed IRL too (I'm hoping in couple of years there'll also be my first real "porokoira"-litters!). I'm also interested in other Finnish breeds like Karelian Bear Dog and Finnish Spitz as they are our national proud and their population here in FP is quite small, so I try to do my best to breed them and increase their number. There are some Siberian Huskies as well, and little breeding of them too - I've dreamed of owning couple of Huskies someday and sledding is so fun! :)


Sighthounds are the love of my life besides the Spitz-type breeds, so I have and breed them too - too bad there wasn't Magyars in this game so I chose Azawakh, the most beautiful and elegant dogs there exist! Occasionally I've got dogs from other breeds too, and maybe a little breeding of them (at the moment there are some Chart Polskis, Porcelaines and Silken Windhounds in my kennel).


I'm quite new player of this game and still learning playing strategies, but I have goals to get the very best lines of my main breeds. My goal is to produce dogs with excellent health and I'm heading towards 24HH dogs. But I also want to train and compete my dogs, and try to breed them as old as possible and only a few times, and avoid inbreeding too. So quality is more important than amount here in Winterfell! ;) I'm very interested in animal breeding and genetics, especially colour genetics are my passion and I play around a little with some colour breeding experiments too: I'm trying to get Lapponian Herders without Light Underlines and Mask, Siberian Huskies in Black & White or Silver Grizzle and Azawakh Hounds in Brindle and Blue. So I think I'll be playing here for a while and often!
