Fire Tribe's Cave

The Fire Tribe is a pack of dogs lead by Martha. They live in a cave, of course, carved into the side of a mountain they call "Blazing Howls" (it is a mildly active volcano). FJs mean Fierce Jaws: the Fierce Jaws are the ones who battle. FPs are Fierce Paws: Dogs younger than 12 years who are training to be a Fierce Jaw. When a dog is 10 and 1/2 years old, they set out on a journey to the top of "Blazing Howls". Before they become a Fierce Jaw, they must bring back an ember from the volcano. Then they journey back down, and they become a Fierce Jaw. An Old Hunter is a dog over 60 years old who has retired and is being taken care of by his/her younger tribemates. A "Dove Protector" (DP) is often what the nickname is for a Council member of the Royal Cave. The Fire Tribe has a king, queen, and a leader to rule over them. The Council members are consisted of the Royals from other near-by tribes and the Royal Families of those Tribes. They are called "Dove Protectors" because they are known to be very peaceful. Bird Hunters are the hunters of the Tribe. A Bird Paw is a a dog under 12 years training to be a Bird Hunter. Unlike and alike the Fierce paws, Bird Paws start the journey to the mouth of "Blazing Howls" only a few days before they are 12 years old. This is because they do not have to train with Howls, the expert blacksmith, at the top of the volcano. A Bird Paw must capture and kill an eagle at the top and bring it with them back to the cave. Then they become a Bird Hunter. Enjoy the wonders of the Fire Tribe!
