Breeding requirements:
My BC’s are mostly trained in herding or agility, but the ones I’ve bought from someone else may be trained in some other sport. Kooikerhondje is the first breed I had on Furry Paws. The kooikerhondje isn’t the most known breed, so it’s been hard to find the “perfect” dogs to buy or for stud. However, I’m pretty close to my goal (24HH/lala) now, and my kooikerhondjes are healthier than ever!
I’ve decided to train my kooikerhondjes in either hunting trials or field trials. Just recently I started to work with golden retrievers. My golden retrievers are “field golden retrievers” – goldens from field lines. In my kennel, they will always be working dogs, not show dogs.
My goldens are of course trained in field trials – the only exception is if the owner I bought the dog from was training it in something else. If I am not keeping two puppies from a litter, I usually put the pup(s) up for bid. It’s important for me that the pup(s) will come to a place where it will be taken good care of. You don’t have to take care of the puppy every day, but I expect you to lock the dog if you can’t. I often have a minimum bid on the pup(s), but you are welcome to bid any lower. Lots of dogs for sale - you can find the dogs I have for sale in the “For Sale” kennel.
