Sunekosuri Kennel is currently under construction. I have decided to discontinue my specialisations with certain breeds. All dogs of these breeds will gradually be put up for Private Sale in the days to come. Thank you for your patience in the meantime.

History of Sunekosuri
Sunekosuri was originally known as ‘Middonaitosuta’, but after some careful consideration, underwent a name change. Instead of remaining a jumbled mess of what Google Translate could provide for me, I renamed the kennel so it would, instead, take after the name of a type of yokai from Japanese mythology. This particular creature happens to be dog-like in appearance, and more or less harmless, so I figured it wouldn’t hurt to pass the name along to my kennel. I’m satisfied with this name, too, so there’s a very low chance it will be changed in the future.
The alteration of the name this establishment goes by was not the only thing to have changed, either. The plan in the beginning was to focus solely on breeds that had originated from Japan, and nothing more. Breeds falling into that category were to be the only ones permitted in my kennel, without any exceptions. However, exceptions had eventually been made, and before I knew it, I’d had various breeds. Not only did I house the breeds that had originated from Japan, but I’d also begun taking in Alaskan Malamutes, German Shepherds, Korean Jindos, and a concoction of various others. It continued on like that for quite some time, too.
I’d ended up taking a break for a long while, and upon my return, many changes started happening. First came the new name and prefix, then the cleaning of my kennel. It was a tough decision at the time, but I had decided to give up all of the dogs I owned that didn’t origin from Japan—aside from my Korean Jindos, of course. Majority of them were sold, while a few remained in my kennel until they could be retired, since I felt no one would take them in on account of them being older. Once they’d all been sent to live in their new homes, I’d made the decision to take in not just breeds originating from Japan, but those that had originated from other Asian countries as well.
Thus far, things seem to be going well within Sunekosuri, and I hope to someday excel with all of the breeds I now take in. Though we can never be certain of what the future holds, I will be sure to continue to try my hardest to succeed.
