Our kennel is situated on a working farm, and is comprised of two sturdy housing blocks, with each dog having full-timeaccess to a solo outside area, as well as a warm indoor space designed to fit the dog's needs. It is rather unusual for us to have more than twelve adult dogs at any one time. Due to how small our kennel is, each dog is treated as an individual, with activities and training determined by their natural traits and interests. The dogs are taken out for most of the day, both in groups and individually, for training and for play times. We have a large wood nearby with clear walking paths, and two secure fields to our disposal.
We specialise in Border Collies, Brittany (Spaniels), and Dalmatians, however we may take in and/or breed other breeds on a case-by-case basis. We do like to stick to the Gundog and Pastoral Categories, but this is not a strict rule. We are always open for any unwanted or abandoned dogs, and will offer them a good home until a forever home can be found.
In keeping with this, we try to train our dogs to the work they were originally bred for, or as close as we can manage. As such, our Collies train in Herding, our Brittanys in Hunting, Pointing, and Retrieving, and our Dalmatians in endurance. Along with this, we like our dogs to do activities that will suit them, often Agility or Flyball, or Obedience trials. We've found that with kindness and good communication every dog can excel in some area or another, and we've had many successes in shows across the world.
Please feel free to have a look around! We welcome visitors here, and are perfectly happy to bring the dogs out to greet you. Enjoy your stay!
