You will only see American Pit Bull Terriers, here. They have been my love for many years, ever since 3 adorable puppies were practically abandoned on my doorstep! I am a quiet but very friendly person & am looking for new friend here, as I only have 1 lol. I'm an artsy, musical, bookworm crafty person, a shutterbug & coffee addict. Edit: I'm also trying to get into Pomeranans & German Shepherds!

A little useful game info while I'm editing:

the breeding center can be found under the "manage" tab in your kennel. Hit "Kennel", then "Manage." The breeding center will be a link on the left hand side.

The amount of times a female has been bred affects the litter quality, and the levels affect the multiplier that helps the dogs in showing. The higher the multiplier (stronger by high level parents) the better your dog is bound to show.

crossbreeding is not allowed on FP and never will be.

When can I breed? Your dogs may be bred as soon as they are a minimum of 12 days old. They cannot breed after the age of 100 days old. In addition, males have a set number of breedings, which caps at 10 for males you have purchased from the pet store and (10 + your Breeding Bonus) for males that have been raised from litters. They gain one breeding a day.

How many puppies can I keep? You may keep one puppy in each litter total if you are Basic account so you get to keep one OR you get to sell one to someone else - ALL the rest will go to pet homes. If you have an Elite account you may keep two pups in each litter.

Litter Quality Genotype Codes The litter size is determined by the genetics of the dam - lala will produce large litters, LL or Lla will produce medium sized litters and ll or lla will produce small litters.

How can I get better puppies in my litters? Higher statted puppies come out of higher leveled parents. If you want higher statted puppies, wait to breed your dogs until you have leveled them somewhat. You can increase the stats of puppies after they are born by feeding them puppy chow once a day during days 2 through 5. Higher dollar valued pups (pet home value) come with higher leveled parents. If you want to increase the quality of the litter, make sure to take care of them daily including feeding them. Puppy raising brochures will give you an extra stat boost. You can also look at the sire's and dam's genetics to see if they are a good genetics match (a goal being to produce 4 Excellent/24HH dogs - an excellent health will score better in dog show competitions). Another goal players may have is to produce puppies that have boosts in one or more of the breed's preferred stats.

What are "Puppy Raising Brochures" and how do I get them? Anyone in the Breeder profession that is at least Level 3 will be able to offer Puppy Raising Brochures. This will give you a two Stat Boost rather than the standard one stat, and is based on their genetics. This replaces having to go to a breeder to breed your litter. The effect is strongest when the Litter is 0 days old and decreases substantially after that. Check the user shops to purchase the brochures.

Other important items

1. Remember this is a purebred dog site so the sire and dam must be the same breed to produce a litter 2. Females have a 12 day waiting period after producing a litter before they may be bred again. 3. You do not earn UXP for breeding or caring for your litters. 4. Your litter will not get sick if you do not vaccinate or care for it. 5. No pups will die at any time for any reason. 6. If you have selected to keep a puppy for yourself (KEEP option on it's page), then you will see a green check mark next to that puppy on the litter page. 7. New litter pups are 0 days old. Pups age out of litters at day 6. 8. Make sure you select the pup you want no later than day 5 or you will lose the opportunity. 9. Remember to have enough room in your kennel to add a pup or pups or you will not get what you picked and they will go to a pethome. 10. There is no limit on the number of litters you are allowed to breed in a period of time

24HH

This refers to a dog that has no Hh or hh in its genotype.

4E

This refers to a dog with four excellents. This is not necessarily the same as a 24 HH dog, though a 24 HH dog will always have four excellents.

This refers to money that is placed on a dog. The owner of the dog may choose to accept or reject the amount of money for any reason.
