About Briarwood Kennels

Briarwood Kennels was established August 12, 2014. The kennel became registered officially xxxxxxxx with the prefix BRIAR, specializing in Chart Polkis unrelated to other furry-paw dogs. Here at Briarwood Kennels, I strive to bring up the best dogs available. I am mainly interested in Chart Polskis, though I do plan on expanding and breeding Rottweilers and another breed I have not decided yet. The dogs of Briarwood are not bred below level 35. Health, litter size, and stat genes are considered the most important in breedings while color genetics are of little concern here. Since I am beginning with Chart Polskis, I plan on only using store bought dogs to start my lines and only train the dogs in racing.

Briarwood's Chart Polskis

Briarwood's Chart Polskis are our very own genetically made dogs. We strive to improve our dogs, only buying store boughts and only breeding our very own dogs, we do not breed to outside kennels due to our idea of only breeding Briarwood CPs.

Our Chart Polskis are in a fluctuation of colors, from black to tri-color, we strive to perfect the HH and lala portions of the genetics themselves and do not rely on color primarily in our dogs. Color is a minimum concern this early in the beginning of breeding our very own line of Charts. A secondary concern we will try to develop are strictly Racing Charts, since Racing is a money maker over the other showing tyoes. By doing this, we will automatically train our dogs in the variables that can let us obtain a beautifully genetic Briarwood Chart Polski.

Briarwood's German Rottweilers

We now are beginning our line of German lined Rotties. Our Rotties are ll only at the moment, but we plan on expanding with store dogs and slowly include lala, Lla,LL and any other combination. Like with our Chart Polskis, we are going to primarily focus on HH, Hh and hh combos in our Rotts. Since the coloring factor does not exist in Rotts, we won't have to worry about that too much, but we plan on making strict Shutzhund Rotts, so Stamina and Strength will be assets in our dogs.

Breeding Policies

1. I will not stud my dogs until level 30.

2. I will not accept breeding requests of dogs less than 50% the stud's level without prior agreement.

3. The price for breeding with one of my studs is subject to change depending on the market. Current pricing system is:

Level x (250 + [HH x Base] / [24 x (hh+1)])

Base = 2250 FPD lala = +250 FPD to Base ll = -250 FPD to Base Quad-stat = +250 FPD to Base

Selling Policies

If I have dogs for sale:

1. The dogs you currently own must be well taken care of (i.e. shown regularly). I only sell to showing kennels.

2. I have the right to refuse sale to anyone.

3. The dog will have my registered kennel prefix.

4. The minimum price of my puppies (age 6-11 FP Days) will be: $250 x Highest Stat + $2,500 x (HH - hh) + $500 (for training) + $1,500 (for equipment)

5. Discounts might be available for kennels with long standing in the breed.

6. Pups that have grown into adults will cost roughly: $2,500 x (HH - hh) + $2,500 x (level - 1) + (equipment cost)
