about the kennel
Founded in 2003, Night in the Woods has been known by a variety of names and breed specialties, but ultimately devoted to one thing: breeding and raising top-quality dogs.Currently, Night in the Woods is focused on raising the best Labrador Retrievers on FP, as well as establishing exceptional lines of Korean Jindos, Shiba Inu and a handful of other breeds (Stabyhouns, Taiwan Dogs, Spinoni Italiano, Field Spaniels, and German Pinschers). Breeds we've specialized in over the years include Bedlington Terriers, Caucasian Ovcharkas, Golden Retrievers, Kelpies, Chihuahuas, Basenjis, Finnish Lapphunds, and Tibetan Spaniels.
Because we strive for quality over quantity, all dogs are kept up-to-date with food, accessories, and training. Any dog that doesn't attain a minimum of level 40 is not bred unless it has particularly notable color or health genetics.
At present, Labradors are being bred primarily for level, with health genetics and color as secondary attributes. Eventually, I hope to have a line of entirely chocolate and yellow Labradors, but that is taking a backseat to having high-leveled dogs.
About Me
Hi, guys. I'm Gleipnir. I'm 29 years old and I live in California with my partner, our Jindo mix, one cat, and a guinea pig. I'm mixed race (Taiwanese and Swedish) and queer (she/they pronouns are fine). My interests include dog behavior, nutrition, and training, classical music (I've played violin and viola since I was 6), death metal, literature and writing, video games (especially indie releases), and animation.

Dog Ranking Scale:(0) 4 Excellents
(1) 3 Excellents, 1 Good
(2) 2 Excellents, 2 Goods
(3) 1 Excellent, 3 Goods
(4) 4 Goods
(5-#&) Any fairs, # = total Excellents & = total Goods
No breeding requests from dogs under level 30 will be accepted, period. Females are not leased out unless I know the player requesting the breeding and/or have dealt with them before.
Stud fees will be calculated using the following formula:
(LVL x $1,000) + (# of Ex. x $5,000) = Total stud fee
In order to have your breeding request to a male accepted, you must have your entire kennel cared for and shown properly, including proper equipment and food. I do not accepting breeding requests from dogs under level 35, and I do kennel checks for the following things:
-How many of the breed do you have?
-Are they leveled?
-At what level are dogs in your kennel bred? I don't accept bids/requests from players who breed below level 15.
All breeding requests to dogs with BETA in their description must be approved via message before any requests will be accepted or completed.
I rarely sell my dogs to outside kennels unless, as stated above, I know you or your lines. However, when I do sell my dogs, the same standards apply to selling as to breeding.
