NOVEMBER 2022:Trying to come out of hiatus. It's been a long couple of years for me. :D

A note about bidding on litters for new players: I put every pup that I am not keeping up for reserve, so you can browse through the puppies and pick your favorite. Please keep in mind that for elite accounts, only two total puppies from each litter can be kept. If I am keeping one of the pups, just one can go to another player. Two pups can go to other players if I'm not keeping any. If I receive bids on multiple puppies from the same litter, I'll accept the first one(s) that comes in. Feel free to message me if you've bid out of your preference order - i.e. placed a bid on a pup and then seen one later you'd rather have. I don't bite; I'm well trained. :)

ABOUT WYNDWOOD KENNELS: Wyndwood is primarily a show and competition kennel.
There are two satelite kennels: our store and supply kennel and a veterinary kennel.

GENERAL POLICIES:
1) I try not to inbreed dogs that are showing common ancestry. Once the dogs are past that point, 2nd cousins or more distant, I don't worry about it. I am aware it doesn't have any real game effect (other than my own bit of added realism).
2) I breed dogs at age 89 or higher - either once or twice.
3) I retire dogs at age 101 or higher. The ones that are not for my breeding programs are aged in the Retirement Villa, a lovely smaller kennel just for senior dogs. :) I take in dogs that are age 80 or over provided there is room in the retirement kennel.
4) I am working towards two main Achievements: Performer and Progenitor. Finally finished Diversifier! Yay!
5) Almost all my litters with available pups are for the progenitor achievement. What this means: Any pup marked" 0" minimum is available for free for your first puppy. If you are bidding on multiple pups, please bid at what you estimate the puppies' value for any pup after your first. There are occasional exceptions. I am perhaps overly proud of my Blue Tick and Dachshund lines! If these become available, I generally mark the minimum bid at the amount I would like for the pup.
6) Sale Kennels - the Sale Kennels are HERE. Please feel free to peruse the dogs and pups for sale in the kennel even if they are not currently listed and/or send me an offer if I haven't listed for public sale yet.
7) Studs The Studs available to breed are in the breeding kennels in the Cabins right next to the Sale dogs. I seldom list the males up for stud on the site. I am not adverse to it, I just rarely get around to it. I am willing to breed most males in the kennels to similarly aged and leveled females (minimum Level 20 OR Age 50 please.) Again - just send me a message with a link to the match you are proposing.
8) Locking - yes, many of my kennels are locked - alot. Not that long ago I created this really large kennel, I adopted a lot of dogs and started a bunch of projects! I have fibromyalgia/CFS. I have a flare occasionally; good days and bad days, good weeks and bad weeks. Sometimes it can take me out completely and, most of the time, limits how long I can do repetitive tasks. I lock when I need to.

ABOUT JEN: I am a hippyish adult (old!) female fine-artist. I do fabric collage, pen (art markers) and colored pencil work mostly. Mother of one grownup human daughter and two (forever toddlers) miniature dachshunds, one piebald and one brindle (the dox not the human). Other stuff: INFJ, Aspie, "dog" person, shelter supporter, introverted Leo, lousy speller, polyamorous, dollhouse enthusiast, Neutral Good, Minecraft resource creator, quilter, painter, knitter, Mensa member, Sci-fi reader and coffee lover.

Notation: "*" before the name means the dog has a sport aptitude that uses 3 of the 4 main stats for the breed. "^" means one of the dog's parents had a good sport aptitude (which could be recessive). The numbers in parenthesis are the HH/hh amounts usually followed by the litter size. I am also starting a point system for their good focus vs bad focus days #focused.#unfocused. I haven't decided If I want this is the name or the notes yet.
