Shelby Bray's Kennel

My name is Shelby, but I also go by Shelbs!

I started on FP on December 10th, 2016 and am so happy that I found a way to own as many dogs as I could love! I am focusing on breeding and with that being said I received the Yellow Progenitor Ribbon on December 16th, 2016 (only 6 days after starting FP) and then was so happy to receive the Red Progenitor Ribbon December 17th, 2016!!

I am an Animal Science major at Texas A&M and am interested in going to graduate school for reproduction/genetics! FP is a way for me to do what I enjoy right NOW! Although in my major I mostly judge Bovine (or cows) the structure conformations are similar to all species once you know what to look for. Even though composition, femininity/masculinity, proportion, muscling, condition, etc. are not on FP, I will focus on the traits that are on FP to better my dogs and litters.

I will mostly focus on Golden Retrievers, I find their loyalty, personalities, and overall just beautiful looks to be memorizing.

I am a proud mommy to my Golden Retriever puppy, Dodge. He is 8 months old now and will be the stud in my own breeding program in the next few years! Here are a few photos of him growing up!
