Zwinger von EisenGeist

Zwinger von EisenGeist is a competition-focused kennel specializing in German Shepherd Dogs. We aim for the highest possible levels, along with perfect health, Schutzhund aptitudes, and Intelligence boosts. We do not focus at all on colors, so the kennel is a bit of a rainbow. This kennel has been established since FP's Beta days, and currently holds the record for highest-ever German Shepherd Dog in the Hall of Fame--Xara von EisenGeist at level 103! Most of our dogs retire at level 90+. If it's competition quality German Shepherds you're looking for, look no further!

I am looking for a new, custom layout, if anyone is particularly skilled with HTML. This current is a placeholder.

Breeding and Buying Requirements

Please Read...

...when requesting stud services or asking about purchasing a pup.

Breeding Requirements:
- Your female must be fully cared for.
- Your female must be 76+ days old.
- Your female must also NOT have been bred more than twice.

To explain: I put a lot of effort into my own dogs, and my overall goal is to improve the breed. When a female is bred three or more times, the litter quality is reduced each breeding. To accept breedings to overbred females will go counter to my goals, decreasing the quality of dogs on Furry-Paws. If you have a female for whom you think I should make an exception, whether newly-bought or if you're establishing fresh lines, just contact me in PM. To see my available studs, just look over my kennel page. Any GSD without faults who is level 70+ will generally be offered up for breeding, with a level minimum of 30 and a price of $15,000. Note: if you're wishing to establish your own lines from scratch/level one, feel free to message me. I will gladly offer stud use to even level one dogs when it comes to preparing new bloodlines.

Buying Requirements:
When purchasing a pup from me, you agree to:
1. Always offer the dog for sale back to me first, if you decide to sell it on;
2. Keep the dog fully cared for and shown daily, and in level-appropriate gear/food;
3. Only breed the dog at a higher level/near the end of its lifespan (the latter for females).

If you're interested in a pup from me, let me know what you're looking for in particular and I'll happily add you to my Reserve List.

Reserve List:
Spike (#38625) - Sch-based, either 4xint or 4xstm, or Agi-apt + Agi-stat. 24HH + 1.49x+ preferred, will accept 20HH+.

lukiz (#1234941) - Sch-based, females (multiple), 24HH lala, high multiplier (color unimportant).

Jazz (#102545) - Male pup, pref double int-boost, pref black/black+tan/sable/red/choc or even blue, no isabella.

Anastasia Beach (#1232994)

News:

My goal of reaching level 100+ is now complete. Xara von EisenGeist has retired at 103, placing her at #1 in the Furry-Paws German Shepherd Hall of Fame! I chose to breed her to an in-kennel stud, level 95, who has proven his worth again and again in fathering extremely high-aptitude puppies with many focused days. Her litter should wean out at 1.7x or so modifier, the highest I've ever had, and with luck reach their mother's level or more.

My new goal is to have the majority of my dogs retire at level 95+. Each generation, my kennel's dogs creep a few levels higher at retirement age. For now, ~5 levels lower than their age (i.e. lvl 95 at day 100) is considered a good, solid age. Hopefully, that will soon go up!

History

ZvEG was a top-competing kennel for German Shepherds in beta, as well as American White Shepherds, Dobermans and, to a lesser extent, Dogo Argentinos and Czech Wolfdogs. All dogs were built up from store-bought. With my GSDs, I was one of the forerunners in health genetics, and had highly-competing dogs, along with other excellent kennels like Fells.

A good number of these dogs have been carried over from the beta, to be combined with a large amount of dogs imported from other, more modern kennels. My new lines are woven together from my beta lines, plus dogs bred by Grimm, Stalag 13 (Schultz), Ryan P, Clan of X-Files (sun), Power N Pride (Alison), Mont Royal (Alice Berger) and more. These kennels have fantastic dogs and I suggest having a look, if you have time!

Incidentally, EisernenGeist in German translates to Iron Spirit. Eisen is just the word for iron. The kennel should really be called EisernenGeist, but hey! Another note on German: "von" means of, or from. So usually if you're looking for a German naming scheme, you go with 'dog name' 'von' 'kennel name,' so Zeke of IronSpirit for example. I see a lot of players putting 'kennel name' 'von' 'dog name' and that makes no sense. Hope this helps!
