Boreal Pride - Top Class Hunting Dogs
Welcome to Boreal Pride Kennels! I'm a Finnish university student from Finland and the owner of these kennels. Here I breed high quality and rather rare Karelian Bear Dogs and Finnish Spitzes for hunting trials. In case you are looking for a top class sport dog, you have come to the right place! Puppies are for sale on a regular basis, but I also offer my dogs for breeding. My dogs are excellent in health, produce large litters and are the most suitable choice for competitive hunting trials but also for other sports and breeding purposes. The dogs bred in my kennel can be recognized from the prefix "B.P."




Karelian Bear Dog
Karelian Bear Dog is a very old and primitive hunting dog breed from Finland. This breed is specialized in hunting large game, such as moose and bear. In my breeding program I focus on natural talent for hunting (aptitude for hunting trials), health and litter size.






Finnish Spitz
Finnish Spitz is another ancient breed used for hunting. As you can tell by the name of the breed, also this breed is from Finland. Unlike Karelian Bear Dog, Finnish Spitz is used for smaller game, especially for hunting birds and squirrels. In my breeding program I also focus on hunting aptitude, health and litter size, but I also target to produce a whole new line of rare, fawn colored Finnish Spitzes.




Other dogs
My kennel also boards several other breeds that are purchased especially for competition. Even though my kennel is focused on hunting trials, these dogs compete in many sports. These high level dogs always possess natural talent for their sport careers. Even though I'm mainly breeding Karelians, I occasionally produce litters from other breeds, usually rarer ones. Some of the dogs are available for breeding, as I attempt to host dogs that are genetically suitable for breeding purposes. Projects
Right now my goal is to produce my own line of Irish coloured Norweigian Buhunds. This "Irish Line" is genuinely produced by me, and I will breed these dogs right from the beginning, meaning I've purchased 20 completely new dogs to start with. The "Irish Line" contains irish cream, irish fawn and irish black coloured dogs.
