Doberman Pinschers

The Doberman Pinscher is sleek, but muscular. owerful, but graceful. The Doberman Pinscher was first bred in 1890 in Germany as a protection breed. Since then, it has become a widely-known breed in the United States and in Canada.

Strong and agile, we breed our Dobermans to have optimal abilities in the sports Schutzhund and Agility, and occasionally in other similar sports.

Coloring and pigment doesn't matter so much to us. We focus more on the physical abilities, as well as hip and ear scores. Right now we are striving to breed in the 24 HH, lala categories, with an Agility, Stamina and Strength bias. Our goal is to move past the Champion title into the World Champion categories and upwards.

Ultimately, after achieving the goal of perfect 24 HH genes and lala breeding traits, we want to be able to breed Doberman puppies with a single aptitude of Agility, Stamina and Strength. For the most part, our Dobermans are Schutzhund competitors, and we have a heavy bias for Doberman who posses Stm+ and Srt+ genes.


Newfoundlands

A powerful, stoic, muscular breed. The Newfoundland, true to its name, was first bred in Newfoundland, Canada as early as early as the 18th century.

We train our Newfoundlands in the sports of Dock Diving and Water Work.

Ideally, we look for puppies that have an aptitude for stamina, strength, agility and occasionally speed. We recently succeeded in breeding our first 24HH pup with lala genes as well. Another goal of ours, as of recently, is striving for the Universal Champion category. Breeding for future profit is a goal of ours as well. Our puppies have also shown great promise in the Pulling category as well.

Alaskan Malamutes

A true example of a classic sledding breed. Like many nordic breeds who pull sleds, the Alaskan Malamute is muscular, but compact. This breed comes in a multitude of different colors, and has ample fur to keep it warm in sub-zero temperatures.

Here at Damask, we train our Malamute pups in the categories of Sledding and Pulling. We strive for a single aptitude of strength, as that is our bias in this kennel for Malamutes (as well as our sledding competitions).

We are very close now to achieving our breeding goal of lala and 24HH genes. We regularly host sledding and pulling competitions in our kennel to help push our biases which we try to breed in our Malamute puppies.
