We currently own two two-star training areas where we often host competitions (sledding and agility) and we have two main kennels for our two specialized breeds, Siberian Huskies and Australian Shepherds.

~BREED SPECIALIZATIONS~

Here at ESK~, we specialize in two breeds: Siberian Huskies and Australian Shepherds. Most of our dogs are trained in sledding or agility, but many are trained in other sports, as well. We show and train our dogs daily and care for them each and every day. We give all of our puppies the ESK~ prefix and our newer adults, if we can. Our dogs’ needs are our top priorities and we are willing to spend as much money as needed to fulfill those needs. While we do specialize in Siberian Huskies and Australian Shepherds, we may eventually add a few other breeds into the mix, however, these two breeds will forever be the main breeds at this kennel.

~BREEDING~

We love to breed our dogs and focus mainly on their health standards and their phenotype. We typically only breed our females with dogs from our kennel, but our males are open for breeding with dogs from other kennels, as well. We do our best to care for our puppies, including training them and feeding them daily, as well as aptitude testing them when they are old enough. Our puppies’ reserve prices depend on the individual pup’s health standards. We never sell puppies without prefixes, so if you see a dog from at least the second generation with the prefix of ESK~, it is either owned or bred by us.

~SHOWING AND TRAINING~

We show and train each of our dogs daily, and even host competitions of our own. We try our hardest when training our dogs and always push them to the very limit of their capabilities. We double train most of our younger dogs.

~CASSO REGISTRY~

We register each of our dogs to the Casso the day they reach level five. It is always an honor to be able to register a dog and we love our Draught and Drovers breeds. Every one of our dogs level five and above are registered — we make sure of it.

~KENNEL REGISTRY~

Echoing Sound Kennels is a registered kennel with the prefix of ESK~. We give this prefix to every one of our dogs that don’t already have one,including the Reservable puppies we breed. We constantly work towards expanding and improving the kennel and overall trying to make it the very best it can be.

~NAMING~

Each dog here at ESK~ has its own unique name. Their full name, or show name, is almost always two words minimum (with some exceptions being words that can’t be a call name; mainly adjectives or adverbs).

Examples of double-worded names are “Clouded Sky”, “Blazing Sun”, and “Midnight Storm”. Names similar to these, such as “Herb Garden”, fall into the same category, although they are simply double-worded nouns rather than a noun accompanied by an adjective or time frame. Names such as “Patiently Waiting” (A verb accompanied by an adverb) also fall into this category, though slightly different than the other two, one of the major differences being that it has nothing to do with the dog’s physical appearance, unlike the other two.

Examples of multi-worded names are “In the Lion’s Den”, “Living Life on the Edge”, and “Singing in the Rain”. These names are typically metaphors or phrases, or, on occasion, a reference to a song or series of something or other. These names have many different meanings and rarely ever have anything to do with the dog’s physical appearance, with the exception of being loosely based off of it (Ex. “In the Lion’s Den” - the dog has the coat colors of a lion; “Singing in the Rain” - the dog’s coat pattern is similar to that of rain).

Examples of call names are “Blaze”, “Stone”, and “Leo”. Call names are ALWAYS only one word and typically something that wouldn’t be too odd for someone to name their house pet. These names can be shortened versions of their show name, or words that relate to their full name. Examples of shortened versions would be “Blaze” from “Blazing Sun” or “Rain” from “Singing in the Rain”. These names are taken directly from the dogs’ show names, with the only changes being minor switches of tense or part of speech. Examples of words merely relating the the full name would be “Rosemary” from “Herb Garden”, “Stone” from “Patiently Waiting”, or “Leo” from “In the Lion’s Den”. Rosemary relates to Herb Garden because rosemary is a type of herb you can grow at home, Stone relates to Patiently Waiting because the dog sits completely stoic, like it is frozen in stone, and Leo relates to In the Lion’s Den because Leo is the lion constellation.

~PROFESSIONS~

Besides the main kennel, ESK~ is working towards owning our very own veterinary clinic. So far, we have two profession points on the subject. We love the amount of money that we would be able to make with this profession. The more money we make, the more we can do to make our kennel even better. We also love caring for our dogs and want to do the same for other people, whether it be vaccinating their dogs or giving their litters gene tests. We are also looking to spend our extra profession point received at level twenty on either training or breeding, which are both major parts of ESK~.

ESK~ often submits art to the Image Bank and, while we prefer to use our dogs’ actual appearances over art from the IB, we highly encourage you to look through and possibly vote for our art!
