Strelitzia Fields
Hi, welcome to the kennels of Strelitzia Fields!

We are still busy being established, and our main breed of focus is the Rhodesian Ridgeback.
I will still dabble in some of the other gorgeous breeds - if they have splendid stats. Too many different "good boys" to ignore!
Aiming to breed canines with 24HH, lala, and 4 excellents.
My username and kennel are named after the native South African flower - it resembles the head of a tropical bird.
Generally, I consider locking my dogs from the age of 70 - to help preserve their abilities. I will unlock a dog if you are interested in breeding.
Please send a message if you have any questions or inquiries, would like to help out, etc.
Timezone: Australian Eastern Standard Time (AEST)

Rhodesian Ridgebacks originated from Southern Africa.
Their ancestors were semi-domesticated, ridged hunting dogs kept by the native Khoikhoi people.
Other names for this breed include; Van Rooyen's lion dog, African Lion Hound, African Lion Dog, simba inja in Ndebele, and shumba imbwa in Shona.
They were bred to guard property and to track/fight massive animals such as lions! Yes, these dogs were known because of their ability to keep a lion at bay while awaiting it's master's arrival.
