The Nile Delta
I was born to a Egyptian family in America, and I lived in America for nine or ten years. Then we moved back to Egypt, near the Nile Delta. Hence my username. You can call me Sakkbha, or the name that I chose for myself during my time in America, Marina. My name was the first English word I learned. Here's the story. So, when I was very young, as in two or three years old, I was on a cruise (I don't know where, I didn't bother figuring out at that age) and we docked in a marina. I had supposedly overheard many people saying "marina" over and over again, and as any confused child would do, I simply copied. This was before school started for me, so my family had just called me Sakkbha. After my parents realized that my first word was "marina", and not anything special (sorry I'm a disappointment :)), they simply made Marina my name. And after ten years of my friends, teachers, and every once in a while my family, it kinda stuck. Now everybody calls me Sakkbha, but I am fine with either name. But I found a love for dogs when I once found a stray in the streets, and even though it never got close to me, I would always throw scraps for him to eat, as we could not afford dog food. This kept on for a few years, till he just disappeared one day. He never came back. I'm not sure what happened, but that's how I started my love for dogs. I now own my very own dog, and I tried to recreate her in Furry Paws. FP doesn't have a mixed breed, but I know she is American Indian Dog mixed with Husky, Shih Tzu (don't ask me how, we did a DNA test), and German Shepherd. But otherwise, same name, same color, and almost the same age. Except the real Delta is a couch potato and won't be participating in Hunting Trials anytime soon.
