Our rules for adopting:
- All dogs that are adopted out will be fully equipped with food, water, toys, a chew, a bed, and bowls
- If a female dog that you've adopted from us has been bred more than twice (or has been listed in the dog's description) please do not breed it again!
- Don't resell the dogs you adopt from us for instant profit!
- Kennel checks will be done before the dog(s) are re-homed.
Our rules for surrenders:
- We will take in any dog(s) with any traits, colors, condition, and age!
- We will adopt each of the surrenders for a maximum of $1,500
Why We Chose This Name For Our Rescue
The name Maggie's Second Chance Kennel and Rescue comes from the name of my family's rescue dog, Maggie. She was a Yellow Lab and Weimaraner mix, and she was the best dog ever. She was abused in her previous home, and she wasn't good with other dogs. She passed away back in April from cancer at the age of twelve. I figured she would make the best mascot for our rescue because she got a second chance at having a great life, just like what every dog deserves.
