As you may have noticed, AS Kennels only holds one breed; and that is the Australian shepherd. I do not breed anything else, and I refuse to own dogs of different breeds. Though my dogs are registered in the Drovers Casso, I will not own or breed any other type of shepherd, or herding breed. My kennel is strictly for Australian shepherds.
Like many other Furry Paws breeders, I have a goal of producing high quality dogs with positive ratings, high stats, and most importantly, excellent genes. I push toward breeding alluring coats while also ensuring that the genes of every puppy sold do not disappoint. My dogs are bred at the highest levels possible, to improve the quality of each puppy in the litter. At All Star Kennels, every dog, including those in litters, have a registration in the Drovers Casso. Most of my dogs are found training and competing in sports such as flyball, agility, tracking, herding, and much more. Due to the stats that the Australian shepherd breed normally carries, flyball and agility are what my dogs most often excel in. Out of the many activities offered by FP, my dogs commonly partake in sports, rather than shows.
While breeding may be slow at the moment, occasional litters pop up for sale every now and then. Though most litters bred are kept for further improvement, many are also listed to the public, with an average starting price of $13,000FPD. Depending on the stats and parents of the puppy, the starting price may be higher.

As a strict breeder, I generally do not accept the original FP breeding requests; however, they are occasionally accepted when sought-after by someone well known, | a closely related kennel or user I have a partnership with | or when the request contains a dog that I feel comfortable sharing my lines with. Subsequently, I can prevent unwanted placement of offspring that relates back to my kennel. I breed for my own amusement, along with the benefit of gaining money to further improve my kennel. Irresponsibly breeding my dogs chips away at the value of future puppies, as well as narrowing down the amount of money I receive. I can easily avoid these issues by running my kennel this way. I will make the decision of requesting off property breeding purely for my own advantage, and nearly all litters produced by doing such are kept for further improvement.
