Darter Creek Kennels

Hello! This page is where I keep general notes about my breeding program, so it's probably going to look like a bit of a mess. Hopefully, however, this will give a decent overview of my values and goals as a breeder, as well as my ethical restrictions with my dogs.

I am currently looking for a female English Springer Spaniel: liver and white piebald with ticking, obsessive personality. Any stats, any health, any age. Please message me if you have one for sale!!

(This is not meant to shame anyone who doesn't follow these rules; FP is just a game and none of this stuff really matters. But, I like the role playing aspect of following some ethical guidelines in my breeding program. I'll also probably mess up all of these at some point, so I have no right to judge anyone else.)

1. I will breed dogs with the best health possible while achieving my performance goals. I won't utilize any dog in my program with a lower single health score than Fair, nor any dog with more than one Fair score.
2. All dogs bred by me will have my kennel prefix attached (DaCrK). I will not put my prefix on any dogs not bred by me, including those bought from the store or imported.
3. I will not breed a bitch more than twice. I will not breed any dog or bitch lower than level five, or not registered with the appropriate casso.
4. I will avoid inbreeding within two generations: any dogs with a shared sire, dam, grandsire, or granddam will not be bred together.
5. I will not breed two merle dogs together, and I will not utilize double merles in my breeding program.
