Welcome to my kennel! Fáilte! Fáilte means ‘welcome’ in Irish. Irish is a language that I speak, and yes it is very different from English, and while it is a Celtic and Gaelic language, the name of the language in English is just ‘Irish’. If you want a tattoo in Irish I would love to check translations for you so that you don’t end up with something as horrifyingly hilarious as ‘may I use the toilet’ when you wanted ‘may you be forever in my heart’. It has happened before. Fun fact: I heard somewhere that the important Irish historical figure Michael Collins had a Kerry Blue terrier!
