Woodnote Kennels

Welcome to Woodnote Kennels! Woodnote means "a wild or natural musical tone, such as that of a forest bird". We are a kennel that strives to produce quality dogs, focusing on Shetland Sheepdogs, Siberian Huskies, and Chow Chows. We have currently taken an interest in also establishing lines of West Highland White Terriers and Canadian Eskimo Dogs, which was a breed I started a campaign for to be added to FP. Previously, the kennel has gone by the names of Akilinain Empire (prefix AkEm) and Sora Astraea (prefix SORA), and we have a long history of being active in competitions.

While currently on hold due to some time restrictions, Woodnote Kennels has also taken on a few projects that we are working on. We would like to establish a genuine and separate line of 24HH lala Shetland Sheepdogs and Siberian Huskies derived from store dogs, as well as a color project of Blue and Isabella Chow Chows.

Policies

Only dogs marked as accepting breeding requests are available to the public.
Breeding fees will vary by breed and individual dog.
If a dog is locked, please message me to unlock them in order to complete a breeding. When you message, please give me the stud name or a link as I typically have several requests at a time. I will not unlock them until you message me.
You will have 24 hours once the dog is unlocked to complete the breeding.
Failure to complete a breeding within the 24 hours will result in your current request being revoked and all future requests denied. This applies only in cases of locked studs older than 101 days. You may still request to dogs younger than 101 days.

Litters marked as "Progenitor" are limited to 1 pup per account, per achievement tier. I keep a list of accepted bids for my current tier here.
Only dogs listed for sale are available to the public.

About Chirok

I have been playing FP off and on for almost 20 years (my original account was #7061). Between work, college, a busy schedule, and just life in general I have taken several breaks throughout this time, but I always seem to find my way back again. I am currently working at a university in St. Louis in the Oncology department as a research assistant. I have one cat that I adopted in November 2012 named Colleen (she is my shadow everywhere I go and is currently sitting on my lap as I type this up).

I am usually very pressed for spare time, but I also try to make sure to leave room for the people and things I love. I enjoy spending time with my family, especially my three adorable nephews. When I have the time and resources, I also love to do photography (primarily wildlife and nature) and travel. My favorite places have been Yellowstone National Park and Paris, France. At the end of the day, I usually just enjoy winding down with some music, a good book, my favorite TV shows, or a movie.

Services

From time to time, I will have auctions on the Art Sales board for layouts and/or manipulations. My commissions are more often than not closed, because I unfortunately do not have much spare time.
