Quality Border Collies In Color

I would like to add more to this section later, but here is something about me for now:

My name is Nicole. I am 18 years old (a senior in high school) and have been playing Furry Paws since 2006. I first started off breeding Shetland Sheepdogs, but after getting my real life Border Collie I grew a love for the breed and began breeding them for unique colors, genetics, and show quality. I've always had a love for animals, and I own many different pets. I have a 20 gallon tropical fish tank, a 10 tank with firebellied toads, a Border Collie named Skye (she's a runt and is only 16 inches tall - sheltie sized Border Collie :D), and two rabbits: Chester a netherland dwarf, and Benny a dutch. I show my rabbits in ARBA shows, and the local fair through FFA. I also show my dog in the AKC for both Rally Obedience and Obedience (We are going to be taking agility classes in the beginning of 2011 too). I am not lucky enough to have a horse, but I love them and really enjoy watching horse racing. Besides animals, I love being active and playing sports. I have been on the school curling team for 4 years, and I am a cross country runner hoping to run my first half marathon this summer of 2011. In school I am also involved in many clubs including FFA, National Honor Society, and Science Olympiad. As for my future, I plan on going to college to be a veterinarian. I'm still undecided if I want to specialize in equine or small animal though. So that's pretty much me. :D

We are a registered kennel. Our registered name is Quality Border Collies in Color and our prefix is QBCC. We breed Border Collies for their color, genetics, and show quality. We also resuce, level, and spay/neuter (if need - see Breeding section).

For the most part I will have Border Collies, but I might decide to work on another breed for a while. Right now I am also working on Australian Cattle Dogs in small scale.

My two other accounts (because we allowed to have a total of three) are BorderCollieLvr12 #928922 and LopLvr12 #928921.

12/2/10 - School is getting too busy, so I am going to have to sell all my dogs and take a break. I don't want to hold them back because they have so much potential, so they will all be for sale.

10/29/10 - So unfortunately school has made me way more busy than I originally though. And I really love this game and don't want to completely quit until I absolutly have to. So in order to keep playing this game I will be selling a whole bunch of my dogs (mostly all of them except 3-4 Border Collies and 1 Australian Cattle Dog). Please take good care of them.

8/28/10 - It's this time of year again - school is starting. I am taking some very advanced classes this year (because it's senior year), and I am going to be busy with sports (cross country now, and curling in october). So...I will be having a big sale so I don't have to lock my account all the time. I just have to decide which dogs I am going to keep and how I am going to preserve my lines, and then they will be up for sale.

8/8/10 - Overall the fair was a sucess. I got 8 blue ribbons, 3 red, and one pink (4th place for my DQ rabbit...lol). Unfortunately, my account might be locked for a few days because I am getting my wisdom teeth cut out. :(

8/4/10 - I showed Skye in Novice A Obedience for our local fair and got first place! We got a blue ribbon, a qualifying score ribbon, and a big trophy! That means next year we get to move on to off leash. =D And later I got a second place ribbon for showmanship.

7/24/10 - Best day ever! I showed my real life Border Collie, Skye, in Novice A Rally Obedience for the first time. She placed first out of nine dogs with a score of 89/100. She got a qualifying score, so she now has a leg towards her RN (Rally Novice) title. :) I felt really special for beating experienced adults with my own dog (trained all by my self and actually owned by me) at the age of 17. =D

7/22/10 - I am really busy preparing for the fair, so my kennel might be locked for a few days on and off. I'll be back soon. =]

7/18/10 - I got a new layout! Thanks Rebel. It's really amazing. =D

If you make a breeding request, I usually will accept it. I require leveled dogs with good genetics. This means the dogs should be at least level 5 five with no fair or poor genetics. Exceptions will be made for level 2 dogs (for example you have a dog you want to continue lines, but it won't make it to a higher level before day 100 or you are breeding for a rare color).

My breeding fees will overall be really cheap, as long as you pass my kennel check and promise to leveled the puppies. Males level 5 -10 will have a breeding fee of $1,000, and males over level 10 will have a $5,000+ breeding fee (depending on genetics and color). Females level 5-10 will have a breeding fee of $5,000, and females over level 10 will have a $10,000+ breeding fee (again depending on genetics and color). All dogs that are 24HH and/or have desired genes (like lala for large litters or swsw for extreme piebald coloring) will have a higher breeding fee. These fees will be around $10,000 for males and $20,000 for females. Discounts are available for certain circumstances. Check each dog's page for their breeding fee.

I also rescue dogs. Most of my rescued dogs will be Level 1 Border Collies. All my rescued dogs with bad genetics (dogs with a fair or poor) will be spayed/neutered, leveled, and put up for sale. Each rescue dog will be leveled to at least level 2 before it is put up for sale. Feel free to breed the un-neutered/un-spayed dogs, as long as you level the puppies (see breeding requirements above).

Note to self: lala + Lla = lala pups

Requirements:
- Your dogs must be feed/watered/brushed/playing with
- Dogs must be shown every day (in either 30/30 or 50/50 shows)
- You cannot breed level 1 dogs
- You cannot breed dogs without genetic and health tests
- You cannot breed dogs with a fair or poor in health
Prices:
All spayed/neutered rescues will be for sale between $500-$1,000. This includes any color, level, or amount of trick points. Any breedable rescues will be for sale for a minimum of $1,000. Their price will be determined by genetics, color, level, and age. All dogs that I bred will be for sale for a higher price depending on quality (at least $5,000). Litters with reservable puppies will sometimes be available too. All dogs have negotiable prices - message me for more information. =]
