This is Pancake. Pancake is a three week old Fancy mouse baby. I think she's a shade of agouti. Pancake, as well as the other six babies in her litter, suffers from serious respiritory infection. Her mother picked it up while she was pregnant.
In total, I have 19 mice with the same condition.
It is inevitably fatal, but mice can live for weeks, sometimes months before they start to suffer. Yesterday it seemed like Pancake and her siblings had reached the inevitable end point. But Pancake and her siblings have other ideas. She had three seizures that I know of yesterday. Most baby mice have one, and then roll over and give up. Pancake shook herself off, came over for a cuddle and then went back to being a baby mouse, and terrorising her mother.
Pancake and all of my mice need all of my attention right now. To allow her the quality of life that's necessary to justify not putting her to sleep, she needs hand feeding regularly, lots of cuddles and a lot of checking on.
As such, all of my comissions, trades, sales, auctions, and collaborations have been cancelled. I hate to do it, I know a lot of people have been waiting a very long time. My mice aren't the only thing that's gone wrong since Christmas.
No one should have paid already, and not recieved anything in return. If you think that's the case however, please message me straight away to sort something out. If you are waiting for a character sheet to be filled in, please feel free to use the blank uneditted sheet until I get time, and I will sort it for you. If anyone questions your right to use it, just tell them to message me and I'll confirm your permission.
If you have already recieved sketches for your comission, please keep them as a token of how sorry I am. Feel free to use them for whatever you want. If you didn't save them, just message me for them again.
Hopefully I will be able to reopen comissions before the end of the summer. If you have a cancelled order with me, and you'd like to re order, then I will offer you the same price as you had now.
Any cancelled sales or auctions will be relisted when I have time to fulfil customs or make edits again. I will happily make a mailing list if you'd like to be notified of relistings.
I'll still be around on FP, and maybe selling non custom art. Drawing helps me to cope, but I need to be doing what I want to be doing.

April 4th 2009 ~ Working on updating. Holidays have started, w00t!

June 6th 2009 ~ Every one of my 20 or so strong colony of breeding fancy mice are sick and dying, so I am really busy. Art will be even slower. I have two week olds still in the nest, and oldies with tumours. Please be patient.
