Welcome to Desert Wilds Rescue Kennel, and thanks for stopping by. DWRK was founded December 20th, 2018. At DWRK, we strive to increase the overall quality of dogs on Furry-paws. We do this by providing the best possible care for our rescued dogs by showing, caring for, and training all dogs daily. All dogs are equipped with level specific equipment and given food that is appropriate for their level and accommodates specific stats.

Dogs are put up for adoption at level 5 or when they are age 51 to showing homes. This is to discourage low level breeding as well as give them the opportunity to find a forever home. Dogs in this kennel are not bred.

Should you wish to relinquish any of your dogs, please feel free to message. If I have the space for them, I will gladly take them in.

ABOUT ME

Hello! My name is Kio. I'm sure you're curious about the person running a rescue kennel on a dog showing sim. I know these are pixels, and they "can't feel anything", but this is how I have chosen to play the game. I've been playing FP since about 2004. I've done the showing part of the sim, and have now decided to open up a rescue. I know there's a bad stigma about rescue, and I aim to shed a better light on rescues by striving to do the best I can for the dogs I take in.

Dogs are put up for sale at level 5 or at age 51, and are priced at 500 x Level. These prices are set to cover showing, training, caring, and equipment costs. Considering our mission statement, there are a certain rules you must meet before I accept your offer on one of my rescues:

- First and foremost, There is no form to fill out (Woo!)
- Your dogs must be shown in at least 30 shows a day
- All dogs must be taken care of, or locked if unable to care for them
- user level must be atleast 15
- It is preferred that you already have the breed in your kennel
- No low level breedings - I prefer dogs to go to homes that do not breed before level 30, though I understand some people breed at lower levels to establish traits they want in their lines.
- Must not be a full-time rescue.
