Koha Kennels

Koha Kennels
about me

Originally I went by the name of "Beagle Lova" back in the year of 05' when I first joined Furry Paws at the age of eleven. So yes I am an original! A few years later I ditched the "Lova" and went as Beagle. In 2010 I changed my name here as "Kaluha" - named after my beloved guinea-pig (RIP) Most would likely remember me as Kaluha/Kal, it was my well known name. After some stressful things in my life I took a rather LONG hiatus and returned in the year 2020 with a new name, as Raccoon, but you know because Kaluha was my guinea pig I felt best I keep honouring her, so back to Kaluha I go!

So who am I? Well my name is Charlotte, I am now 30 and live in the amazing country of New Zealand, I also have an amazing partner of now four years named Mark! I am a huge rabbit lover (as many know) and have owned them all my life. I got my first rabbit in 2005 when I was twelve. His name was Toffee, some might remember him! He sadly passed in the year 2013, while I was on hiatus. I have gone through a few bunnies since him, we lost Charlie in October 2023 sadly at the age of seven.. We also have a Jack Russell cross named Flynn (we lost Wiluke in October 2022), two cats Smokey and Lulu, as well as an Indian Ringneck called Archie.

kennels

The term "koha" means gift in the Maori language, it has always been a fond word of mine. Also the Maori language is a native language to my country New Zealand.

Here at Koha Kennels, I breed top Border Collies which come from the lines of Gavin's BCs. I am always selling litters which most I start bids at $25,000 (this could change). I also have started to breed Jack Russell, my JR kennels are small right now but I hope for them to grow as I breed them more! I have just started to breed Australian Shepherds also, most have good lines and excellent traits!
